What is Microblading?
Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, compared to the traditional hairstroke technique. Lasts from 1 to 2 years. It is called many things – micropigmentation, tattooing, eyebrow embroidery, 6-D brows, etc. The term “6-D” refers to the visual effect of distinct hair strokes, as opposed to a brow that is “powdered-in” for a more solid effect. Gone are the days of stencilled, pasted-on looking eyebrows. This procedure does not damage or inhibit hair growth in the future. In fact, many alopecia clients see a surge of hair growth right after the procedure, as it stimulates the hair follicles. Advantages of this technique: * Less painful and faster than the machine – less repetition over the same area causing less trauma * Far more natural result * Hairs are drawn in a natural direction, it doesn’t look like a solid tattoo * Thin disposable needles, thinner than the thinnest tattoo needle – drawn hairs are identical to real hair. First Treatment R2 000 Follow up 4 weeks later R1 000 Both treatments need to be paid upfront. Cash, Visa/Master card and Snapscan available. Call 021 531 4860 to book your spot.
